Racing Games are perhaps some of our favorites when it comes to exhilarating and engaging games on mobile platforms. That’s perhaps part of the reason why there are so many games for that platform in that genre. I’ve recently been very hooked on Drift Hunters Unity, and that was a game that I played a lot a few years ago. So going back to Drift Hunters has made me realize how good racing games can be on mobile platforms! 10. Hill Climb Racing
While we know that Hill Climb recently received a sequel. We’re still sure that the original game was probably one of the best games on the mobile platforms! Hill Climb is the best physics-based racing game on the market, and it’s just such a blast to play through!
9. Riptide GP: Renegade
A jet ski racing game is one of the few things that you don’t see every day! This game has some of the most over-the-top courses, some of the most exciting tracks, and an absolute abundance of stunts and flips that you can partake in! It’s just a thrill ride start to finish.
8. Grand Prix Story
Now if you’re looking for something absolutely different than the games mentioned above, Grand Prix Story is just that! This is a racing simulator with over 100 cars to collect, and 100 different races, and a single-player storyline with a ton of characters and moments that you will cherish forever! This game should be picked up and played by literally everyone, in my opinion, it’s just so cute!
7. CSR Racing
This is a clear-cut drag racing game with an emphasis on timing your gears, while the game will do the rest of it for you! There’s so much to do here though, from buying new cars to upgrading to customizing and then racing! CSR Racing is just a super-fun drag racing game!
6. #DRIVE
#DRIVE is unique; this is a game unlike any other on the list, aside from maybe Hill Climb. This top-down racing game is all about being an outlaw, as you drive from one procedurally generated location to another, collecting fuel so the driving never ends. It’s got one of the most unique art styles which really hooked us into the game’s world all on its own. After that, the gameplay was so addictive that it just took over!
5. Mario Kart Tour
Mario Kart is on mobile and it brings multiplayer! Mario Kart Tour is just an absolute blast, the best Mario Kart experiences we’ve ever had brought to the mobile platforms! It’s even more fun racing, swimming, and gliding through the maps as you throw bombs and bananas if you’re doing it with your friends!
4. GRID Autosport
GRID Autosport is on mobile, and it looks absolutely breathtaking. This is a costly game for your phone’s specifications; it will take the best phones to handle the graphics on this one. However, if your phone can handle it; GRID Autosport is by far one of the most engaging racing games that you can find on the market. This game is just Drift Hunters if it looked as realistic as possible!
3. Data Wing
Data Wing is the most unique game on this list. It’s a top-down projectile racing game that focuses mostly on precise movement. It has a visual art style that will become ingrained in your memory after a small time of playing the game! The game looks absolutely breathtaking as you’re speeding through the courses, and there’s so much variety in the visuals of the game as well, from light pink colored tracks to dark blues and crimson reds! It’s very much inspired by Drift Hunters, as taking sharp turns and quick movements is the key here!
2. Beach Buggy Racing 2
Beach Buggy Racing 2 is the Mario Kart that mobile players truly deserved, from incredibly fun characters, some unique surprise box attacks and bonuses, and some ingenious course design that will absolutely blow your mind! The thing that makes this game so much better than Mario Kart Tour is the fact that it just looks and plays absolutely perfectly! It looks 10 times better than Mario Kart Tour, as the developers created this specifically for mobile from the ground up, and it’s optimized much better! Play this one for sure!
1. Asphalt 9: Legends
Asphalt 9: Legends wins the best racing game on mobile awards without even much competition. It’s not even funny how big of a lead this game has over its competitors, it’s just insane. This is a game that not only looks good but has some of the best race tracks, some amazing takedown features, and some absolutely fantastic customization and upgrading options. Asphalt 9: Legends is simply untouchable!
